Commercial Single Shaft Shredder For Hard Plastic 

  • MSA-F Series commercial Single Shaft Shredders for hard plastic are small to medium size reduction machines suitable for processing a wide range of materials to a uniform particle size. The products can often be sold as is, or be sent for further processing through additional equipment.
  • Throughputs typically range between300kg/hr –5,000kg/hr+ depending on the model, material type and application. 
  • MSA-F Series commercial Single Shaft Shredders for hard plastic are widely used in the volumetric reduction of various waste products, including but not restricted to the following. Plastc Bottles, Plastic Pipes, Woven Bags, Electrical Cable, Wood, Paper, Domestic Rubbish & Electronic Waste.  
  • A suitable screen can be chosen depending upon the materials being processed and the next processing requirement.  
  • The Output material discharged by the shredder could be an end product or the primary feed for the next process.
  • The MSA-F Series Shredder can be equipped with many different rotor configurations.  In addition, a cooling system, bead welds & an additional wear layer can be added.

Rotor

Genox-Vision-1            
  1. Chevron rotor design

  2. Rotor knives manufactured from special heat treated DC53 steel. They can be rotated and used on four edges before replacement

  3. Long life fixed blades that can be adjusted to maintain cutter clearance

      Wear resistant coating. Optional for applications involving abrasive                material such as fibre glass

Screen Basket

Genox Vision Series Screen Basket            
  1. Quick change screens for accurate particle size control (sizes 12-100mm)

  2. Safety limit switch fitted to screen access door to prevent machine operation whilst access door is open

  3. Cylinders access door opener mounted on V800-V1500 series for easy opening and access

  4. Star screen is available as an option for thin and/or flexible material such as film

Bearings

Genox Vision Series Bearings            
  1. Oversized, high quality spherical shaft bearings are isoloated from the cutting chamber to prevent product migrations through the grease seals

  2. Bearing housing integral machined to ensure the longevity of the bearings

  3. Rotor water cooling. Optional water cooling through the bearing housing to the rotor

Ram

Genox Vision Series Ram            
  1. Segmented shredding chamber floor with brass guides

  2. Machined, one-piece segmented floor

  3. Advanced adjustable sealing system for the pushing unit

  4. Fines discharge chute to the collect the fines during shredding and to protect the  hydraulic power pack


Drives

  1. Electric drive motors configured for Star/Delta starting. Fluid coupling mounted on V1200 and V1500

  2. Heavy duty reduction gearbox mounted directed onto the rotor shaft

  3. Shock absorbing gearbox mountng arrangement to reduce stress on drive components

Hydraulic System

Genox Vision Series Hydraulic System            
  1. Twin speed hydraulics, faster speed for backwards to maximise the shredding throughput

  2. Integrated oil/air cooler to maintain temperature for continuous operation

  3. Optional cover insulator for applications that may eject hazard particles such as wood shredding.

Control Panel

Genox Vision Series Control Panel            
  1. Standalone electrical control panel with Siemens PLC control system and Schneider electrical components.

  2. Manual and automatic controls for rotor direction and hydraulic force feeding device

  3. Intelligent programming whereby the motor automatically reverses on overload and stops when the machine is idle
